Portrait of Johann Sebastian Bach

The portrait of Johann Sebastian Bach depicted is by Elias Gottlob Haussmann (1695-1774). It is a copy by the painter of the version he created originally in 1746, and it dates from 1748. This 'second' portrait is in the private collection of Dr. William H. Scheide of Princeton, USA.
